32 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின் இந்தியா மீண்டும் பணவாட்டம் எனும் மோசமான பொருளாதாரச் சூழலுக்குள் நுழைந்துள்ளது.

மொத்த விலைக் குறியீட்டெண் கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி இந்தியாவில் இப்போது பணவீக்கம் என்பதே இல்லை. பணவீக்கம் மைனஸ் நிலைக்குப் போய், பணவாட்டம் எனும் நிலைக்குத் திரும்பியுள்ளது, நாடு.

இதன்படி கடந்த ஜூன் 6-ம் தேதியோடு முடியும் வாரத்தில் இந்தியப் பொருளாதாரத்தின் விலை நிலை -1.61 சதவிகிதமாக உள்ளது.

இதற்கு முந்தைய வாரம் பணவீக்கம் 0.13 சதவிகிதமாக இருந்தது.

அனைத்துப் பொருள்களின் மொத்த விலை அல்லது உற்பத்தி விலைகளும் மிகவும் குறைந்துவிட்டதாக இப்போது அர்த்தம். உணவு, எரிபொருள், மின்சக்தி, எண்ணெய் பொருட்கள், மூலதனப் பொருட்கள் என எல்லாவற்றின் விலைகளும் குறைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

ஆனால் நடைமுறையில் இன்றைக்கு அனைத்துப் பொருட்களின் விலைகளும் மிக அதிக அளவில் உள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

கடைசியாக 1977-ம் ஆண்டுதான் இந்தியாவில் பணவாட்ட நிலை நிலவியது. அதன் பிறகு 32 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு இப்போதுதான் மீண்டும் இந்நிலை திரும்பியுள்ளது.
